KNOWN ONLY TO GOD

The Hopkins County Genealogical Society is thrilled to announce the publication of its latest book, Known Only to God.

Known Only to God is the complete story of the “Unknown Man” who died in a 1954 car crash on Hwy 19 North in Hopkins County. His identity and WWII veteran service record remained unknown for years.  As a result of two years of research, as documented in this book, the “Unknown Man’s” life was celebrated in Sulphur Springs this past June when a military marker was placed at his grave in City Cemetery, and his name was engraved on the Hopkins County Veterans Memorial. The book contains additional information uncovered during the research of the man’s identity, along with biographies of his family members and the “Good Samaritan”.

You’ll definitely want to add this heartwarming fact-based story to your home library!     The book has a glossy card stock cover inside a Unibind protective cover.  It contains 65 pages and 103 photographs.

Known Only to God costs $20 plus $3 shipping and handling. It can be purchased through the Hopkins County Genealogical Society.  Please contact the library a (903)885-8523 or hcgstx@suddenlinkmail.com
